Alleghany County Governmental Offices to be Closed in Observance of Veteran’s Day

LOW MOOR, Va. (VR) – The following offices will be closed on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, in observance of Veteran’s Day:

County Offices located in the Alleghany County Governmental Complex, 9212 Winterberry Avenue, Covington, VA

 These offices will reopen for business on Wednesday, November 12, 2025.

 * * * * * * * *

The Island Ford Transfer Station will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on November 11th and refuse trucks will be running as usual.
