NOTICE OF JOINT PUBLIC HEARING
WITH COVINGTON CITY COUNCIL
AND PLANNING COMMISSION
Notice is hereby given that the Council for the City of Covington, Virginia will conduct a joint Public Hearing with the Covington Planning Commission pursuant to Section 15.2-2204 (A) of the Code of Virginia (1950, as amended) on Tuesday, November 04, 2025 at 6:00PM in the Council Chambers of City Hall located at 333 W. Locust Street, Covington, Virginia.
The joint meeting is to consider:
The rezoning request of Word of Life Ministries at 418 North Beverly Avenue, Covington, Virginia, 24426 to rezone the church and lots 1, 2, and 3, Block #2137, Section 8, from R3 to C1.
Any person desiring to be heard in favor of, in opposition to, or to express his or her views with respect to the proposed ordinance may appear before and be heard by the City Council during the Public Hearing in the City Council Chambers, Covington City Hall, on the above stated date and time.
