COVINGTON, Va.(VR) – Kars Unlimited is hosting a benefit cruise in for Jeannie Adkins on Sunday, October 12 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Jackson River Sports Complex in Covington Va. There will be music, baked goods, Chinese and live auctions.

Jeannie has been diagnosed with congestive heart failure, unstable blood pressure as well as low oxygen at times. She is currently taking dialysis three times a week and has recently discovered that her kidneys are shutting down. If that weren’t enough for one person to go through, she has also been diagnosed with hereditary hemochromatosis as well as pneumonia in the lower part of her right lung. Sadly, the list doesn’t end there but Kars Unlimited would love for you all to come out and support her through this difficult time.

If anyone wants to donate any items, bake goods or make a monetary donation please contact any Kars Unlimited member, Charlie Norman or Beaver Hicks.

Hope everyone can come out and support Jeannie.
