Maggie Craft Humphries

Maggie Craft Humphries, age 80, of Covington, died Saturday, June 14, 2025, at her residence.

Maggie was born July 6, 1944, in Alleghany County, and was preceded in death by her parents, the late Samuel and Bertha Humphries; four brothers and two sisters.

She was an awesome CNA providing private duty services for many people who needed her; but most of all she loved spending time with her family and especially the grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom she adored.

Surviving to mourn her loss is one daughter, Tina Craft (Petey) Morgan; one son, Lance (Teresa) Craft; four grandchildren, Lindsay (Chance) Breden, Savanah (Tyler Griffith) Morgan, Kameron (Shelby) Craft, Kassidi (Justin Leith) Craft; three great-grandchildren, Brynley, Maebry and Brooks, all of Covington.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 20, 2025, at 11:00 AM in the Arritt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bill Gilliand officiating.

The family will receive friends at 10:00 AM until the time of service.

Interment will follow at the Lone Star Cemetery.

The family suggests that memorial tributes take the form of contributions to Connections Plus, 315 Myers Street, Lexington, VA 24450 in Ms. Humphries name.
