COVINGTON, Va. (VR) – Abigail Powell (left) and Megan Powell represented Alleghany Highlands Public Schools at the 2025 All-Virginia Band, Chorus, and Orchestra event held at the Greater Richmond Convention Center on April 26. Megan performed with the VCDA High School Chorus under Dr. Brandon Boyd of the University of Missouri, while Abigail sang with the ACDA Middle School Chorus under Dr. Jamie Hillman of the University of Toronto. Their hard work and talent, along with the support of their school community, set a great example for other young musicians to follow. (AHPS Photo)
