LEGAL NOTICE
OF PUBLIC HEARING
CLIFTON FORGE PLANNING COMMISSION
Pursuant to the provisions of Section 15.2-2204 of the Code of Virginia of 1950, as amended, the Planning Commission of the Town of Clifton Forge, Virginia, hereby gives notice of a public hearing to be held on Thursday, April 3, 2025 at 6:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the agenda permits, in the Old Circuit Courtroom, 547 Main Street, Second Floor, Clifton Forge, Virginia 24422, to hear public comment on the following:
Proposed rezoning of Alleghany County Tax Parcels 124-1-4-7, 124-1-4-8, 124-1-4-9, 124-1-4-10, 124-1-4-11 and 124-4-12A, fronting on A Street and Church Street and being generally known as the Old Jefferson School, from CF (Public) use to BG General Business.
Further information on the proposed rezoning may be reviewed in the Town Department of Community Development, 547 Main Street, Clifton Forge, VA 24422, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.., Monday through Friday, except legal holidays.
Persons wishing to make comments may attend the hearing, mail their comments to the attention of the Town Manager, 547 Main Street, Clifton Forge VA 24422, or email their comments to kcrosier@cliftonforgeva.gov.
