Grief Support Session at First Christian Church in Covington on Tuesday, January 28

COVINGTON, Va. (VR) – A grief support session sponsored by ConnectionPlus Health Care + Hospice will be held in the Family Life Center of First Christian Church at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, January 28, 2025.

Bill Gilliland, area minister and hospice chaplain/grief counselor will facilitate the session.

Anyone going through the grief journey is welcome and urged to attend. Thoughts and discussion for the evening will center around the topics highlighted in the opening pages of Alan Wolfelt’s book “Understanding Your Grief.”

“No one should think that they have to face their grief alone or in isolation. There is help for those in bereavement, and part of that help is knowing that grief, though unique to each one, also has many commonalities. Such is the benefit of “group” work,” Gilliland said.

The Family Life Center is located at 231 E. Fudge Street with plenty of parking in the rear.
