CLIFTON FORGE, Va. (VR) – The Town of Clifton Forge will have the Clifton Forge Firehouse, 701 Church Street, Clifton Forge, VA, open to anyone that needs heat due the impending winter weather.
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning effective from noon on Sunday January 5, until 7pm on Monday, January 6, 2025. Total snow accumulations between 1 and 5 inches, and ice accumulations up to four tenths of an inch.
The Clifton Forge Volunteer Rescue Squad located at 1610 Hickory Avenue, Clifton Forge, VA has also agreed to open their building up to those in need.
