COVINGTON Va, (VR) – It was Friday the 13th, and at Boys Home, ghosts were replaced with The Grinch, Cindy Lou Who and Max. Sounds of Christmas music and laughter filled the air as guests were invited into cottages decked out in Christmas decorations.
Each cottage was decorated with a theme in mind. Hot chocolate and cookies were served to the judges, as the annual cottage decorating competition kicked off. The Grinch tried to kill the Christmas spirit by tearing ornaments off the tree, but the true meaning of Christmas changed his heart by the end of the visit.
All of the participants did a great job decorating. Once the winners are announced we will follow up with those results.
