COVINGTON, Va. (VR) – The Alleghany County Sheriff’s Office & Regional Jail recently participated in No-Shave October / November. Deputies made a donation and in return they were allowed to grow their facial hair outside of department policy. A total of $450 was raised and a donation was made to SafeHome Inc. Pictured above is Sheriff Kyle Moore making the donation to Brittany Stevens, Executive Director of Safehome. The Alleghany County Sheriff’s Office is proud to be able to make these kind of small steps towards improving the lives of our citizens.
