Clifton Forge, Va. (VR) – Mountain Gateway Community College (MGCC) and SafeHome Systems, Inc. are inviting families to join them for a festive holiday event, Cookies with Santa, on December 14 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Moomaw Center on the MGCC Clifton Forge campus, located at 1000 College Drive, Clifton Forge, Virginia. This free event will offer children the chance to listen to Santa Claus read holiday stories, while everyone enjoys a selection of delicious cookies and hot cocoa in a festive atmosphere.
Parents are also welcome to take photos of their children with Santa to capture the holiday magic!
And here’s a little secret: There may be a special appearance by the Grinch—but we ask that you keep it under wraps!
“We have a little surprise in store,” said Billy Ould, Chair of the Outreach Committee at Mountain Gateway Community College. “The Grinch may make an appearance, but don’t worry—Roady, our beloved MGCC mascot, will be there to save the day and ensure everyone has a great time.”
The event is open to all families in the community, and we encourage parents to bring their children for an afternoon filled with holiday fun. Whether it’s enjoying cookies and hot cocoa, hearing a story from Santa, or meeting Roady, this event is sure to create lasting memories.
