Clifton Forge, Va. (VR) – Mountain Gateway Community College (MGCC) is enrolling for the Spring semester, offering adult learners an opportunity to pursue an affordable and flexible education.
Whether you’re looking to change careers, advance in your current field, or take the first step toward earning your degree, MGCC provides a supportive and accessible environment to help you succeed. Classes begin on January 13.
This spring, MGCC is excited to introduce new programs in Liberal Arts as well as Medical Laboratory Technology, offered in partnership with Virginia Western Community College and LewisGale Alleghany Hospital. These, along with other in-demand programs in Business, Education, Electrical, Forestry, General Studies, Hospitality, Information Technology, Nursing, Science, and Welding, are designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in today’s competitive job market.
To better serve the region, MGCC has campuses in Clifton Forge and Buena Vista, ensuring that students across the area have access to quality education and the flexibility to learn in a way that fits their schedules. Whether you choose to study in person or take advantage of our online
and virtual learning options, you can expect a personalized experience with small class sizes (typically 15 students per instructor) and instructors who are dedicated to your success.
“We understand that returning to school as an adult can feel overwhelming,” said Dr. John Rainone, President of Mountain Gateway Community College. “Our goal is to make that process as smooth and supportive as possible. Whether you’re pursuing a degree, earning a certification,
or advancing your career, we’re here to help you every step of the way.”
MGCC is committed to providing flexible learning options so students can balance work, family, and other responsibilities while pursuing their education. Additionally, our affordable tuition rates mean that students can achieve their academic goals without breaking the bank.
“Mountain Gateway Community College offers an opportunity for anyone—no matter their background or life situation—to take the next step in their education,” Dr. Rainone added. “Our programs are designed to fit the needs of working adults, and our staff is here to support every
student’s unique journey.”
