Since 1980, the MGCC Educational Foundation has been dedicated to supporting students and making education more affordable. However, state funding for community colleges has decreased significantly in recent years, covering only 39% of the total costs. This means private donations are more important than ever. Your gift will help bridge the gap, making it possible for students to pursue their dreams and build better futures.
Your donation directly impacts students in many ways: it helps fund merit- and need-based scholarships, provides the tools and support students need to succeed, and enhances classroom technology and equipment. It also helps fund faculty development through travel grants, allowing professors to bring fresh, global perspectives back to the classroom.
Each year, talented students attend MGCC seeking new opportunities, many of which would not be possible without your support. By contributing to the Foundation, you are helping to build a skilled workforce, strengthen the local economy, and empower students to become leaders in
their communities.
