COVINGTON, Va. (VR) – Kaleb’s Kreations is a small business with big hearts that gives back to the community in so many ways.
Kaleb (age 10) and Jonathan (age 13) are brothers with a love for their community.
This love can be seen in all the things they do such as the patriotic pens they made for the Vietnam veterans during the visit of the Wall That Heals. It was also seen Veterans Day as they made gift bags for veterans and law enforcement staff in attendance.
Jonathan and Kaleb are homeschooled and very involved with the Boys Scouts and very active at Fincastle Baptist Highland Campus.
Both Kaleb and Jonathan take dance lessons at A-1 Dance Studio, The studio is owned by Amanda Burns. Amanda is a member of VFW Post 1033 and a driving force behind our Youth Activities program. Amanda has over 20 years of experience teaching dance in the Alleghany Highlands and takes pride in the high quality of instruction and their community service. Kaleb and Jonathan are part of this community service going to
nursing homes to dance and being involved in other community events.
Amanda Burns said of both young men: “They are always eager to give back, excel at community service, earn their own funds and donate those funds to area projects and are model dancers for others”.
Kaleb’s Kreations has a booth at Crafty Ladies and Friends and participates in other local events selling their great gifts. They have a FB page and have donated to several local groups – Boys Home, Relay for Life, Christmas Mother, veterans and local nursing homes.
