On Monday, August 12th Curtis A Smith VFW Post 1033 revealed another Vietnam Veteran Wall of Valor at the local Post Office on Main Street. We are honored to be able to recognize so veterans for their sacrifice to our country. We had a lot of local support for this wall and thank everyone
who came out.
Our last Wall of Valor will be our two local Medal of Honor recipients – Gary Miller and Michael Folland.
We will continue to honor the local veterans who were killed in action weekly until the Wall that Heals arrives October 3-6, 2024. If you have questions or missed getting your Vietnam veteran on the Wall of Valor this year, please reach out to Marian Paxton at 843-653-6098. We may have to start 2025 with Vietnam. We want to honor them all.
