Lick Run Man Hurt By Cow
Charles Hoylman, of Lick Run neighborhood, was probably fatally injured Thursday afternoon when he was struck on the head by the horn of a cow. Mr Hoylman was taking the animal out of his barn when the rope by which he was leading her became hung on an obstacle and jerked the cow’s head around so as to strike him just over the eye. He immediately went to his home and dressed the wound, but on going out again he fell and has not gained consciousness since. He was immediately taken to Clifton Forge Hospital, where he was given treatment, but doctors hold little hope for his recovery.
