There is still plenty of time to sign up for these events.

For the second time, Alleghany County Parks and Recreation will be running recreational sports in the summer!

This summer, Alleghany County Parks and Recreation will offer outdoor volleyball and flag football at Rosedale Park.

This is an opportunity to get back outside and stay active during the summer.

• Outdoor volleyball will be available to participants aged 9-13 based on their age on October 1st

• Flag football will be available to participants aged 7-12 based on their age on October 1st

• To register, go to www.alleghanycountyrecreation.com, complete the registration, and pay the $10 registration fee online.

• The season will start in June, and registration is open now!

If you have any questions, you can go to the website, email prinfo@co.alleghany.va.us, or call 540-863-6622.

To avoid confusion, we would like to make it clear that this is not replacing our normal leagues that take place in the fall and winter seasons.
