Covington man found dead inside home on Saturday

The Virginia State Police responded to a residence in the 200 block of E. Chestnut Street in Covington, Va at approximately 4:45 pm Saturday, March 20, 2022.
An adult male inside the residence was unresponsive. Further investigation confirmed the man was deceased and his death is being investigated as a homicide.

The investigation remains ongoing by the Virginia State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation’s Salem Field Office.
