BREAKING: Shooting leaves three dead, including Covington Police officer

UPDATED 9:14pm ET

BREAKING NEWS (VR): Shooting at Farm and Fuel in Covington leaves three dead, including Covington Police officer.

Covington City Police, Alleghany County Sheriff, and Virginia State Police all responded to the scene.

The shooting took place approximately at 5pm at the Covington Farm & Fuel on Alleghany Avenue. Police have confirmed 3 dead, including a police officer, the suspected shooter and a civilian.

Mayor Sibold commented he did not have any information at this time as they are in the process of investigating and family notifications.
