Last week, Richmond Spiders graduate senior linebacker and CHS alum, Tyler Dressler, was named to the First Team All-Conference in the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) for the third time is his collegiate career.
In the fall 2021 season, Dressler, posted 92 tackles to go along with a team-high three interceptions including one he returned for a touchdown, and 2.5 sacks.
During the season, Dressler, was also named the CAA Week three Defensive Player of the Week after posting 11 tackles against Villanova.
After missing the Stony Brook game due to an injury in the teams game prior against JMU, Dressler had a team-high 15 tackles in the Spiders 35-21 victory over New Hampshire. The 15 tackles tied for the second most in a game during Dressler’s career at Richmond.
Dressler finished the season with four game of 10+ tackles.
