“In 2010, when my passion for writing leaped ahead of my passion for accounting, I quit my career to write full time. I love the southern voice and the southern experience, so I write about the south, from the mountains to the coast,” she said in her profile on Goodreads.com.
Her new book contains references to Covington She speaks through the eyes of her character “Bit Sizemore” to bring her book to life.
This is Gerler’s sixth book.
