On Tuesday night, the Bath County Charger snapped their three game losing streak with a straight set victory over the Highland Rams.
Despite a close finish to the second set 25-21, it wasn’t relatively close as the Chargers cruised to a 10-point first set victory and a six-point third set victory.
The Chargers grabbed great performances from Freshman Laken Tingler who led the way with eight kills to go along with four digs.
Senior Chelsey Lowry had a game high 19 assistants along with nine digs and three kills.
Fellow senior, Cami Keyser finished with eight digs and three assists.
The win for the Chargers was just the teams third on the season and improved their record to 3-11 overall.
The teams first set win on Tuesday, snapped a nine set losing streak dating back to the teams last win on September 30th against Craig County. The team won 3-1 that game.
During the three game losing streak, the team lost on back to back nights to the Covington Cougars.
Up next for the Chargers is a tough road contest against the Eastern Montgomery Mustangs.
