Covington will begin cutting off service on Nov. 1 to customers with delinquent utility accounts.
To avoid a cutoff, customers have an opportunity to establish a 12-month payment plan. The deadline for setting up the plan is Oct. 25.
Applications are available at city hall in the front vestibule, the treasurer’s office, or online at
covington.va.us.
Also, applications will be mailed or emailed to customers who call 965-6314.
Beginning Nov. 1, the city will resume utility cutoff on delinquent accounts without a repayment
plan in place.
