Handbag Sale: LewisGale Hospital-Alleghany Volunteers will have a handbag sale from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Conference Room B. Proceeds will benefit projects by the volunteers in the community and at the hospital.
Friday, January 27
Presentation: Patrice Cole, of the League of Older Americans, and attorney James Snyder will speak on Living Wills and Powers of Attorney at Scott Hill Retirement Community at 2 p.m.
Camera Club: Jeremy “Tackyman” Johnson, of Floyd, will be the guest speaker at a special meeting of the Alleghany Camera Club at 7 p.m. at the Clifton Forge School of the Arts. Meeting is free for members and open to the public for a small donation at the door.
