Rabies Clinic: A rabies clinic for dogs, cats and horses will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Stonewall Service Station in Callaghan (Exit 10) and from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Triangle Country Store on Longdale Furnace Road (Exit 29). Vaccinations will be $8 each. Clinic is being held by Dr. Amy’s Mobile Vet Service and Valley Vet Clinic and is sponsored by Dr. Amy Wasalaski, Dr. Meg Taylor and Dr. Emily Graham.
Monday, January 23
Relay For Life Fundraiser: The Relay for Life Create Hope team will hold a bake sale at LewisGale-Alleghany Hospital from 9 a.m. to noon. The bake sale will be held in the cafeteria.
MeadWestvaco Retirees: The MeadWestvaco Retirees Association will meet at 1 p.m. at the CPU Union Hall on Prospect Street.
Covington Masonic Lodge: Covington Masonic Lodge No. 171 AM & FM will hold a called communication at 7 p.m. Work will be conducted on the Master Mason Degree.
