Treasurer, Commissioner Of The Revenue & Deputies Sworn In

Alleghany County Treasurer-elect Wanda Simpson, top photo, center, and Commissioner of the Revenue Valerie Bruffey, right, took the oath of office Tuesday evening at the Alleghany County Governmental Complex in Low Moor.

Both were elected to four-year terms in the November general election, and their terms begin Sunday.

They were sworn in by Alleghany County Circuit Court Clerk Debbie Byer, left.

In the bottom photo, Alleghany County deputy commissioners of the revenue and deputy treasurers were sworn in Tuesday evening at the Alleghany County Governmental Complex in Low Moor.
