Buddy Poppy Declared For Saturday In Clifton Forge

Clifton Forge Mayor Jimmie Houff, seated, signed a proclamation declaring Saturday, Oct. 29, as Buddy Poppy Day in Clifton Forge.

Members of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4299 will be selling poppies Saturday for the benefit of disabled and needy veterans and the widows and orphans of deceased veterans.
