Early Snowfall Hits The Highlands

Old Man Winter made an early visit to the Alleghany Highlands Friday night and this morning, dropping a dusting of snow across the area and adding a layer of white to the bright fall foliage colors.

Snow showers were likely this morning before turning into rain as a coastal storm that developed Saturday night moved northward into New England.
