VICAP counselors are available through the Local Office on Aging to assist residents with assessing Medicare coverage during the open-enrollment season, which expires Dec. 7.
Medicare beneficiaries can contact the Local Office on Aging at 962-0465 to schedule an appointment.
Counselors will assist Medicare receipts in assessing:
– Current coverage.
– Comparison of plans with available options.
– Outline plans that meet specific prescription and medical needs.
– Questions about Medicare.
– Low-income programs.
