LEXINGTON – Talk about home course advantage.
The Rockbridge County Wildcats golf team continued their postseason success after winning Monday’s Region III team title at Lexington Country Club.
The Wildcats, who finished third in the BRD regular season standings, won the BRD tournament title last week on the very same course.
Spotswood finished second to claim the second berth in next week’s Group AA tournament at Heritage Oaks Golf Club.
Alleghany’s lone qualifier, senior Ben Vess, rounded out his senior season with a 102.
E.C. Glass’ Harrison Scharf won individual medalist honors after firing an even par 71.
