WHITE?��SULPHUR?��SPRINGS, W.Va. – The Greenbrier’s “Musical Merry Christmas,” a cabaret performance by the resort’s Greenbrier Entertainers, is being featured through December.
The show features a medley of classic and modern favorites along with some fun twists.
The holiday production is the latest endeavor between The Greenbrier and Greenbrier Valley Theatre, the state’s official theatre.
GVT’s Cathey Sawyer is the show’s artistic director and Donald Laney the choreographer. In addition to assistance with the set, costumes, lighting and sound, GVT has also allowed their facilities to be used for all rehearsals.
“We are very fortunate to work with GVT on our musical productions. Their expertise and vast resources are invaluable,” said Jeff Bryant, director of entertainment for The Greenbrier.
“A Musical Merry Christmas” will be presented on Dec. 5, 8-11, 13, 15-17, 22-23 and 25. Doors open at 8 p.m. and the show begins at 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $35 per adult and $15 per child ages 17 and under. For tickets and information, contact the Concierge, 304-536-1110, extension 7282.
The Greenbrier Entertainers are Cameron Bartell, Nicole Bowles, Quinton Guyton, Ira Harris, Laura LaCara, Bonnie McBride, Micah Mims, Katy Nichols, Chelsea Reynolds and Kevin Rose. They are from all across the United States, including Florida, Illinois, Indiana, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia.
They also perform for afternoon tea, the nightly Greenbrier Waltz and other musical numbers in the Casino Club.
