Camp Accovac To Host All Area Youth Retreat

MILLBORO – Camp ACCOVAC will host an all area Youth Retreat, November 4, 5, and 6, for ages 12-18.

The weekend will begin with registration between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. Friday night. It will conclude at 11 :30 am. Sunday morning.

The cost for the weekend is $35.

The speaker will be Dale Elwell from the Fairlea Baptist Church in West Virginia.

The New Life Drama Company team from Cleveland, Tennessee will lead worship and present skits.

Activities for the weekend will include camp games, team competition, bonfire, and praise and worship services.

Those taking part in the planning of the weekend are Eric Gutierrez, youth pastor from the Roanoke Advent Christian Church, Derek Irvine, Youth Pastor of the Central Advent Christian Church, Drew Hipes, Youth Worker from the Lone Star Advent Christian Church, and Dallas Reynolds and Josie Denius, Camp ACCOVAC staff.

Camp ACCOV AC is owned and operated by the Advent Christian Churches of the Virginia Conference. It is located on routes 39 and 42 about two miles northeast of Millboro Springs.
