Dear Sir,
Monday evening, Oct. 24, was a night of Halloween and family fun at Boiling Spring Elementary School. The faculty and staff, at the direction of principal Amy Dew, and the Building and Grounds Committee, put together a free Fall Into Family Fun event for the students and families of the school.

The evening began with a short, informative PTO meeting.

Then everyone headed off to rotate through four stations – a food station for pizza and drinks; a craft station to make a Halloween Hand; an art station for tattoos and face painting and a reading station for a special Halloween story read by Martha Nicholson followed by a book walk in place of a cake walk.

Many of the students wore costumes and showed them off during a special costume parade. Winners for the best costumes were: Maggie Earwood, pirate, 1st place; Shawn Meadows, vampire, 2nd place; Emma Reed, Egyptian princess, 3rd place and best over all, Tanner Hoke, nerd.

At the end of the evening, each child attending received a gift bag of goodies. The evening was enjoyed by all.

Thank you to Little Caesars Pizza, the parents who donated candy, Sue Brown for taking pictures, the families who attended the event and the faculty and staff for their hard work and dedication to the students of Boiling Spring Elementary School.

Sincerely,
Heidi Brunner, Chairman
Building And
Grounds Committee
