ROANOKE – Northside Middle jumped to a 24-0 halftime lead and downed Clifton Middle School, 39-14, here Wednesday.
David Hosey had an 8-yard TD run for the Falcons, while Michael Crowder added an 11-yard touchdown run.
Levi Seay kicked a pair of extra points.
“We played hard,” said CMS coach Bob Umstead. “It’s the little things that hurt us.”
The Falcons (2-2-1) play host to William Fleming next Thursday at 5 p.m. at Clifton Middle.
