Biff Downey, right, signed copies of his book “TooT!! The Toy Train That Saved Christmas” Friday at the Clifton Forge School of the Arts.
The event was sponsored by CFSOTA and the C&O Historical Society.
The book tells the story of a C&O train that saves Christmas when Santa’s reindeer fall ill with the flu.
The story will be the foundation for the Christmas event which will be held at the Railway Heritage Center on Friday and Saturday, as well as on December 14-15.
The illustrations in the book were drawn by children in Judith Sivonda’s Children’s Art workshop.
Over 150 books were brought to the signing, and only 20 were left by the end.
