ALLEGHANY COUNTY
ELEMENTARY AND
MIDDLE SCHOOLS
Monday: Breakfast – Juice, fruit, cereal, toast or bacon and egg biscuit.

Lunch – Cheese pizza or jumbo corn dog, scalloped potatoes, mixed vegetables, fruit choice.

Tuesday: Breakfast – Juice, cereal, toast and fruit or crispy steak biscuit.

Lunch – Chicken tenders with WW roll or barbecued rib with WG bun, baked sweet potato, pinto beans, seasoned corn, celery sticks with low-fat dip, fruit choice.

Wednesday: Breakfast – Juice, cereal, toast and fruit or sausage biscuit.

Lunch – Ravioli with WW roll or beef and bean burrito, lettuce tomato and cucumber salad, seasoned green beans, fruit choice.

Thursday: Breakfast – Juice, cereal, toast and fruit or breakfast chicken biscuit.

Lunch – Meatballs with WW roll or chicken patty on WGR bun, creamed potatoes with gravy, steamed brocoli, baby carrots with low-fat dip, fruit choice.

Friday: Breakfast – Juice, cereal, toast and fruit or breakfast pizza.

Lunch – Chicken cheese wrap or hot dog on WGR bun, seasoned green peas, french fries, cole slaw, fruit choice.

Choice of 1 percent white and non-fat chocolate milk is offered with breakfast and lunch. Fresh fruit, vegetables and whole grain breads are offered daily. Pizza and salad bar will be offered daily as menu entrees for Middle School students. All elementary schools will offer chef salads daily as a menu entree and elementary and middle schools will offer baked potato daily as an a la carte item. Lettuce and tomato will be offered when sandwiches are on the menu.

Vegetable choices: Mixed vegetables, scalloped potatoes, fruit choice.

Tuesday: Breakfast – Juice, cereal, toast and fruit or crispy steak biscuit.

Lunch – Entree choices: Pepperoni pizza, chicken patty on WGR bun, cheeseburger on WGR bun. Vegetable choices: baked sweet potato, seasoned corn, pinto beans, celery sticks with low-fat dip, fruit choice.

Wednesday: Breakfast – Juice, cereal, toast and juice or sausage gravy biscuit.

BATH COUNTY SCHOOLS
Monday: Schools closed.

Tuesday: Breakfast – Breakfast pizza.

Lunch – Potato soup, grilled cheese sandwich, carrots with dip, fruit choice. Salad bar at BCHS.

Wednesday: Breakfast – Cereal and toast.

Lunch – Turkey and cheese wrap with lettuce and tomato, sweet potato fries, mini carrots with dip, fruit choice. Salad bar at BCHS.

Thursday: Breakfast – Sausage biscuit, gravy.

Lunch – Menu chosen by designated class in each school. Salad bar at BCHS.

Friday: Breakfast – Scrambled eggs, toast.

Lunch – Hot dog on bun, scalloped potatoes, cole slaw, fruit choice.

All meals are served with a choice of low-fat or fat-free milk.

COVINGTON SCHOOLS
Monday: Breakfast – Chilled juice, cereal, toast, chicken biscuit, milk.

Lunch – Chicken patty on WG bun, sweet potato fries, green beans, mixed fruit, crackers, milk.

Tuesday: Breakfast – Chilled juice, cereal, toast, breakfast pizza.

Lunch – Turkey roast on WG bun, gravy, creamed potatoes, green peas, lima beans, pears, crackers, milk.

Wednesday: Breakfast – Chilled juice, cereal, toast, scrambled eggs, milk.

Lunch – Barbecue on WG bun, cole slaw, corn on cob, cooked apple slices, crackers, milk.

Thursday: Breakfast – Chilled juice, cereal, toast, french toast sticks with syrup, milk.

Lunch – Spaghetti with meat and cheese, applesauce, broccoli, honey wheat breadsticks, crackers, milk.

Friday: Breakfast – Chilled juice, cereal, toast, sausage biscuit.

Lunch – Chili soup, grilled cheese sandwich, peaches, cake with icing, crackers, milk.

Additional items are offered at Covington High School and Jeter-Watson Intermediate School. Choice of 1 percent and fat free milk is offered.
