The Alleghany Highlands Genealogical Society is seeking information on this photograph taken approximately 100 years ago in Covington on Lexington Avenue.
In the early years of the 20th century, the Low Moor Iron Company operated a furnace in the area and the Covington Machine Company operated for almost 40 years.
