Pat and Marcy Rowell, of Mogadore, Ohio, announce the marriage of their daughter, Amanda Elizabeth Rowell, of Wiesbaden, Germany, to John Elger Rollinson, of Wiesbaden, son of Lon and Susan Rollinson of Clifton Forge.
The couple were married on Jan. 19, 2013, at the Chapel of the North American Martyrs in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.
Mandi is the granddaughter of William & Julliette Rowell of Traverse City, Mich., and the late Leonard and Beatrice Szymanski, of St. Clair Shores, Mich.
John is the grandson of Norma and the late Elger Wells Jr., of Chicago, Ill., and Ruth and the late Sam Rollinson, of Childersburg, Alabama.
Mandi is a 2007 graduate of Walsh Jesuit High School, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. She has a B.S. in Art, Philosophy and Literature from the United States Military Academy in West Point, N.Y.
John is a 2007 graduate of Alleghany High School in Covington. He has a B.S. in Mathematics and Computer Science from the United States Military Academy.
Both the bride and groom are first lieutenants in the U.S. Army stationed in Wiesbaden, Germany.
