FEATURED PERFORMER — Harpist Leah Trent will be a featured performer for the Alleghany Highlands Arts Council’s Madrigal Dinner, “A Musical Medieval Feast,” Sunday, Jan. 13, at 6 p.m. at Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Covington. Trent is the director of education for Carnegie Hall in Lewisburg, W.Va., and has been playing and teaching harp for 30 years. She will play the Celtic harp during the program. Next Sunday’s program is being directed by Sandra Minter, with assistance from Allan Tucker. Advance purchase or reservation is required.
