HOT SPRINGS – Edith Marie Stoklasa, 96, of Hot Springs died Monday, Nov. 15, 2010 at Bath Community Hospital.
She was the wife of George E. Stoklasa Sr., who preceded her in death.
She was born Nov. 23, 1913 in Blair, Neb., and owned and managed “Edith’s Home Cooking” in Chicago, Ill.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, George and Susan King Stoklasa of Hot Springs; a daughter and son-in-law, Winifred “Winnie” and Donald Knapp of Pahrump, Nev.; seven grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, two sisters, and two grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at the Warm Springs Cemetery, Warm Springs with John Young and Sean Kenney officiating.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the residence of George and Susan Stoklasa, in Healing Springs.
