MOOREFIELD, W.Va. – Bath County’s girls tennis team moved to 3-0 on the year with a 7-2 win over Moorefield here Monday.
The Chargers won five of six singles matches to seal the win.
“Moorefield is our longest trip of the year,” said BCHS coach Mike Bollinger. “It’s a difficult place to play since their courts are in the middle of their town park and there’s always a lot of noise and stuff going on. We kept our focus and concentrated on the task at hand.
“Everyone played well,” he added. “We still have lots to work on in practice, but Monday’s win was a solid performance for us.”
