CLIFTON FORGE – Clifton Forge School of the Arts, 518 Church Street, is featuring the works in stained glass and fused glass by four students enrolled in the classes of George Ayars, instructor in glass design.
The Art Class Month Exhibit is on display in celebration of National Art Class Month.
Twelve works will be displayed in the large window of the Promenade area, facing Church Street, in order to capture maximum transparent effects of color in glass.
“The show is a celebration of our collective creativity and the inherent beauty of glass as an art medium,” said George Ayars, who teaches glassworks at the school.
Exhibiting their works are: Cole Bradley, Libby Burger, Karen Mays and Susan Owen.
The exhibit opened on Saturday April 6 and closes on Saturday April 27. The exhibit is open Tuesday through Saturdays 12 pm until 2 p.m. There is no admission fee.
