Letter To The Editor: Put Your Values Above Your Politics

Dear Sir,

Your values determine your actions. Everyday we operate based on what we believe is important. So what do you value?

Forget whether you are a Democrat, Republican or Independent. Forget for a moment Cap and Trade, budget deficits, Machinery and Tools taxes or economic uncertainty, although these things are important.

Do you value life? Do you claim to be a Christian? Do you believe there is a God that one day will judge us all? If so, then how could you possibly vote for Rick Boucher who has a 100 percent rating from theNational Abortion Rights Action League and the ACLU?

Ladies and gentlemen of the Alleghany Highlands, put your values above your politics. How much is a soul worth to you? Vote your conscience and pray for Rick Boucher.
