The Curtis A. Smith Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1033 recognized several World War II veterans during Sunday evening’s Loyalty Day banquet and program.
The veterans received pins as part of the “We Honor Veterans” program, which is a collaborative effort between Post 1033 and Mountain Regional Hospice.
Nine local WWII vets were present, and were pinned by other Post 1033 members.
