The local Delta Kappa Gamma Chapter recently awarded scholarships to three area high school seniors.
The group presented Grant-In-Aid scholarships for $350 each to a senior from Alleghany, Bath County and Covington high schools.
From left are Cindy Morgan, chapter president; Kelsie Newcomer, CHS; Analea Deeds, AHS; and Catherine Chestnut, BCHS.
Kelsie is the daughter of Traci Moats and Pete Newcomer, while Analea is the daughter of Richard and Lisa Deeds, and Catherine is the daughter of Richard and Rita Chestnut.
