Sarah Francis, 4, displays a pumpkin which she recently picked from her pumpkin patch.
The pumpkin weighed 14 lbs, 2 oz, and was grown from seeds she planted from a pumpkin she grew and picked last year and made into a jack-o-lantern.
Sarah is the daughter of Sandra and Larry Francis of Covington, and lives with her grandparents, Glen and Norma Angell of Covington.
Sarah watered her pumpkin and watched it grow, and credits her great-grandmother, Betty Angell, for helping water the plants while Sarah was on vacation.
