Mrs. Lillian Biggs Fridley, 88, of 1406 Kanawha Trail, Covington, died Friday, June 28, 2013, at LewisGale Hospital-Alleghany.

She was the wife of Connie C. Fridley Jr., who preced her in death June 18, 2002.

Mrs. Fridley was born Feb. 21, 1925, in Wikel, W.Va., a daughter of the late Lee Poindexter Biggs and Gladys Porterfield Biggs.

Mrs. Fridley was the former owner and operator of Olde Town Lighting. She was a member of Gospel Light Baptist Church and she enjoyed buying, reselling and collecting all kinds of antiques. She loved the outdoors and reading.

She is srvived by her three children, Gary W. and Selina Fridley, Lorenzo “Rennie” and Mary Fridley, Debbie and David Ergenbright; her grandchildren, Brandon and Christina Fridley, Travis and Andrea Fridley, Lucius and Valerie Fridley, Dustin and Jani Williamson; great-grandchildren, Garrett and Connor Fridley, Lane Fridley, Walter Williamson, and baby-to-be, Levi Fridley; seven sisters and brothers, Virginia Burkholder, Lee Biggs, Bonnie and John Wildman, Ronald and Ruby Biggs, Jimmy and Judy Biggs, Brenda and Gary Dolan, Timmy Biggs and Virginia Biggs.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Ruth Biggs and one brother, Jerry Wayne Biggs.

A funeral service will be conducted Monday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Loving Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Palestine Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
