CHS 8th Grade Volleyball Team Takes A Pair From CMS

The Covington eighth grade volleyball team took a pair of matches from the Clifton Middle School volleyball team on Tuesday.

The Little Cougars won the first match 25-16, 25-23 and took the second match 25-20, 25-13.

Mackenzie Madison led the Cougars with 26 points, while Dakota Botkin registered 21.

Kelsey Young finished with 16, Taylor Ginger added 15 and Autumn Woodson finished with 12.

Mikayla Andrews rounded out the CHS scoring with 10 points.

The Covington eighth graders (2-0) will be back in action Tuesday at Patrick Henry at 5:30 p.m.
