FINCASTLE - In light of the widespread, heavy rain received over the last few days and the forecast for additional precipitation, Botetourt County has lifted the burn ban implemented July 7.
Officials warn that residents should continue to use care and prudence with regard to any burning activity, including campfires.
Weather conditions will be closely monitored and the ban will be reinstated when and if conditions warrant.
