Freddie Lee Nicely, 71, of 4607 Midland Trail, Covington, and formerly of Clifton Forge, died Saturday June 26, 2010, at Alleghany Manor Nursing Home, Covington.
Born Sept. 25, 1938, in Clifton Forge, he was a son of the Late Roy H. and Ruth Montgomery Nicely Sr.
He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and enjoyed working and spending time at the Community Services Clubhouse in Clifton Forge.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters; Joyce N. Vess and Dorothy N. Morgan, five brothers; his twin-Frankie Dee Nicely, Roy Nicely Jr., Stanley Nicely, Odell Nicely, and Garnett Nicely Sr.
He is survived by a sister-in-law, Lulubelle Nicely and a number of nieces and nephews.
A graveside funeral service will be conducted Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery, Clifton Forge, with the Rev. Bill Dillon officiating.
Interment will immediately follow the service.
